Our QuietCool AFG SMT-3.0 smart attic fan includes a built-in thermostat/humidistat as well as a ten-variable speed motor. This is useful for when the attic reaches its hottest point. At the hottest point, the fan runs at the 3,000 CFM setting, only using 15 to 140 watts. As the attic begins to cool, the fan automatically slows itself down to a lower speed. At its lowest speed, the fan blows at 1,000 CFM, using 15 watts.
Installation is simple. Mount the unit directly to a gable or dormer and plug the fan in with the attached 20-foot power cord. Plug it in and enjoy maximum energy efficiency!
