Dawn Pracht is the owner and CEO of American Native Woman Contracting, Inc. (ANW). ANW is an Oklahoma Company established in 2016. ANW is Native Owned, and an Indian Economic Enterprise. Dawn was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a Native American, and a member of her Osage Nation Tribe. Dawn is presently studying her Osage language. Her mother’s maiden name was Mashunkashey.
Before ANW was established, Dawn worked in the oil and gas industry for twenty-seven years. She worked for EOG Resources, Inc., a major oil and gas company for twenty years. For her last eight years, her main work experience was managing the Regulatory Department. She had a passion for her work, and this showed through her work and her work relationships.
Dawn received a Certification in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. She also studied at National American University earning her AAS in Management.
Dawn is happily married to her husband Thad of Guymon, Oklahoma. Dawn and Thad dated in college at OSU but went their separate ways after college. Twenty-four years later, they reconnected, and were married in July 2013. Dawn is a mother of two adult children, and a Nana of three granddaughters. She enjoys taking dance classes, performing, and spending time with family and friends.
